When muscle contraction occurs, A and I bands are not clear even at high magnification. d, e: Sarcoplasmic reticula (sr) are distributed around the myofibrils, and dyad (rectangles) structures which composed of a single t-tubule (T) and a terminal cisterna of the sarcoplasmic reticulum are seen near the Z-lines.
